Types of Membership
- General - Any member in good standing of the CCBA or the FGBC
- Honorary - Non-voting membership at no cost, generally for members of Government or educational institutions and reciprocal members from other professional organizations in Citrus County
- Student - Any enrolled student of the construction profession, including local Future Builders of America members

AIA - Member of the American Institute of Architects
BOAF - Building Officials of Florida
BPI - Building Performance Institute
Builders Challenge Partner - A partner of the U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) "Building America" Program for extremely efficient homes. May be a contractor, rater or supplier.
CAPS - Certified Aging in Place Specialist - National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)
CGB - Certified Graduate Builder - NAHB
CGP - Certified Green Professional - NAHB
CGR - Certified Graduate Remodeler - NAHB
FGBC CA - Florida Green Building Coalition Certifying Agent Certifications available for Homes, Commercial Buildings, Land Development, High-Rise Residential and Local Governments
Florida Building Energy Rating System (BERS) The State of Florida has three categories of Energy Raters
Class 3 Rating - A projected energy rating, reserved for new buildings, using plans and construction documents as the source for which the input data on which the rating is based.
Class 2 Rating - An energy rating, using site energy audit data as the source for the input data on which the rating is based.
Class 1 Rating - An energy rating, using site energy audit data and performance based test data as the sources for the input data on which the rating is based.
FWSG - Florida Water Star Gold™ Certification, sponsored by Water Management District
LEED AP - Leadership in Environmental Engineering Design Accredited Professional - U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). May be accredited in any of several different areas.
BD+C - Building Design and Construction
HOMES - Residential
O+M - Operations and Maintenance
ID+C - Interior Design and Construction
ND - Neighborhood Development
LEED Green Associate - USGBC - Basic knowledge of green design, construction and operations
NAHB Green Verifier - Verifies designation of most types of residential construction or development projects to the National Green Building Standard
NAR Green - National Association of Realtors Green designation, the only green program recognized by the NAR. Training provided by the Green REsource Council of the NAR.
Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) Rater An energy rater who has passed the rigorous training and testing to qualify, and, in Florida, must also have achieved a Class 1 Rating. Provides a HERS (Home Efficiency Rating System) index, a numerical value to show energy efficiency, along with reports required for several rebates or credits. Rating required for Energy Star™ designation.
